Sneaky blogging...

(Pictured: The marble arches just outside Hyde Park)

Okay blogging in pitch black, 12am in the morning with 9 others in the room, so.... shhhh!

Morning consists of sore inner thighs from ice skating, Corn Flakes and a walk through Hyde Park. Very cool!
Spent the good part of the morning/afternoon shopping (or more window shopping on my budget) on Oxford Street. Lunch also on Oxford Street, haven't found "good" coffee in the UK yet!

Saving the major sightseeing for tomorrow due to friends, Hannah and Mario, arriving from Rome tomorrow. Plans on seeing a last minute show in the theater district, the London Eye (of course), boat cruise on the Thames and many hop-on, hop-off bus trips!

Loving London! Very multi-cultural like Sydney. I haven't felt as "at home" since I've been in the UK as I have here.

Lots of new photos up on the flickr website, check them out here.

Looondonnnnn!!!!

Woohoo, I've arrived in LONDON! After a 4 hour express train trip out of Cornwall, me and Sam are now doing London!

So we have 4 nights in a hostel in the Bayswater area, 10 mins walk from the main station, Paddington then the 5th night at the Hilton. LOL! Then it's on to Brighton to check the area out down there are see if it's habitable.

I'm really unsure if I want to "settle down" somewhere and the travel out on long weekends and stuff or if I want to go the whole hog and dump myself in another country... mmm Spain!

The afternoon started with exploring the surrounding area as it's right next to Hyde Park and huge shopping areas. Promptly followed by restaurant hunting which resulted in an awesome Indian meal. Next it was onto ice skating...

Yes
, I was stupid enough to go ice skating again! For those that don't know, the very first time I went I fell over only once after about 45 mins... face first! Cracked my nose open, blood on the ice, dizzy spells and everything. Up to the medical center and a tetanus shot and all.
This time was much more successful as I didn't fall over, not even to crack the other side of my head! Managed 3 whole laps around the rink with holding onto railings.

No photos for the moment, especially with being on the ice and all, my camera phone was safely tucked away.

Early morning tomorrow so I must jet! Many photos and stories to come... promise!

Step 1: Complete... Step 2

(Pictured: Sam doin' the dirty work)

Well the big cafe job is over, as is the summer season. The cafe is in the process of being cleaned up and door locked for the summer. Can't say I'm unhappy to see the end of it as it's been hard work and stress for all not that it was unexpected.

Moved back into the barn with Sam as we're leaving for London on the 25th! So now it's on to part 2 of general plan, start looking around the UK! Woohoo! So we're heading up for one of Sam's friends, cousins birthday party at The Hilton and I end up as her +1, guess I'll be hiring a suite.

I've been driving here as I've finally managed the courage to drive some of the country roads. Some areas are only wide enough for 1 way traffic so if you happen to meet up with someone coming the other direction then it obviously means one of you is backing up.

Introducing Sam's cousin's band "Glass Shark" in action. Sam has been doing much PR work for them and I've been heling out on the IT side as much as I can. Working with Tam, Sam's cousin, I've help out the band with a brand spankin' new website. So yes, this is a bit of a plug too. Check them out at the site(s) below. Very cool! It explains my odd VIP tickets to Elton John.
