It all happens at once!

I think it's the only way things tend to happen now days! I have my darling sister arriving today, she'll be the first person from home I've seen for 10 months. I'll be coaching it up to Heathrow this arvo to pick her up and spend a few days in London.

Although she has decided to arrive at a very bad time, work wise. The brand new Playstation 3 came out yesterday and work has been overwhelming at best. Normally it wouldn't be too much of an issue but my partner on the games section, John, well his girl friend has had her beautiful, happy and healthy baby on the 17th April (aka St. Patricks day, imagine her 18th birthday). So with John out on dad duties most of the preparation has been left with me. Fortunately the launch day went perfectly smoothly without a hiccup!

The extra responsibility was good though, it got me in much better contact with the sometimes illusive store manager, Niall. I finally pinned him down a few days ago to query him on any options of a work visa to stay in the country longer. He was amazingly open to the idea and very willing to help out.
So with some research on my part in the near future and a whole heap of long shot luck it may open the prospect of not only getting to stay longer in the UK but also UK citizenship... meaning a EU passport. Live, work and play within the EU for an unlimited amount of time!

I'm sorry to the people that actually do attempt to keep up with my movements by checking this blog. I'm bloody slack with updating it and my Internet is dodgey at best. I'm going to attempt to keep updates more regular but smaller via my mobile... let's see how it goes!
